iPhone Dev Team Releases Redsn0w 0.9.15b1; Includes Support For Tethered iOS 6 Jailbreak, New iOS 5.x.x Restore Functionality

iPhone Dev team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.15b1, which includes a large number of features and improvements.
Redsn0w 0.9.15b1 finally adds native support for tethered iOS 6.0 jailbreak  and installs Cydia, so you don’t have to install it manually. It also includes the new iOS 5.x.x restore feature, that will allow iOS 5.x.x users to restore their devices to any iOS 5.x.x firmware if they’ve the appropriate SHSH blobs.

Follow the step-by-step instructions to run Absinthe 2.0 on OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:
  • Download the latest version of Absinthe for Mac.
  • Double click the dmg file.
  • From the mounted file, right click on the Absinthe application and select Show Package Contents.
  • Then Navigate to Contents -> MacOS.
  • Right click on Absinthe 10.6 file, then go Open With, and then select Terminal.
  • You will get a prompt asking you, if you want to open it. Click on the Open button.
  • It will run a few commands in the background and launch Absinthe.
