Apple expands Maps 3D Flyover coverage to Paris

paris-flyoverApple continues to steadily improve its Mapping service following a disastrous launch. Today, the company has significantly improved Flyover coverage in France, adding 3D imagery for regions in and around the city of Paris.
The newly added Flyover areas include Versailles, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Disneyland Paris, The Hay-les-Roses and more. Previously, 3D coverage was restricted to the city of Lyon, and even now,Apple lists that as the only region in France with Flyover support.
A couple of months back, Apple did a similar expansion of flyover coverage, but on a much larger scale, opening up 3D maps for cities in the U.S. and all around the world.
It might be possible that the expansion is France is a small part of a much larger effort, so let us know if you’ve seen any improvements either in Flyover or the standard maps in your city recently.
