With less than 2 hours to go for iPhone 5 pre-orders, Apple and AT&T are getting ready for the event.
Apple's online store is down, while AT&T has posted a countdown of the event on its website with a tag line "Excited? So are we!".
Sprint and Verizon's online stores seems to be still online at the time of writing this post.
As we reported earlier, iPhone 5
pre-orders start at 12:01 AM PT or 3:01 ET on September 14, in the U.S
and will be available on Apple, Sprint and Verizon's website.
iPhone pre-orders will also be available
in 8 other countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong
Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK at the following time:

- Sydney (Australia) - 17:01:00 EST
- Tokyo (Japan) - 16:00:00 JST
- Singapore - 15:01:00 SGT

iPhone 5s pre-ordered on Friday will be
delivered to customers on September 21. You will also be able to pick up
your iPhone 5 from Apple and your carrier's retail stores on September
21st. We've heard that the retail stores will be opening at 8:00 am on
the day of the iPhone 5 launch.
TechCrunch reports
that unlocked iPhone 5s will be available only after few weeks.
Unlocked iPhone 5 will available for $649 for the 16GB model, $749 for
the 32GB model, $849 for the 64GB model.
