Report Claims 7.85-Inch iPad Will Be Called ‘iPad Mini’; iPod Nano To Come With Wi-Fi Capabilities

Japanese Apple related blog - Macotakara provides some more details about the 7.85-inch iPad and the next generation iPod nano that are widely expected to be launched later this fall.
Macotakara reports that the 7.85-inch iPad will be officially called iPad mini

According to Asian source, the name of Apple's new product, which are expected to have 7"85' and called as iPad mini, will be named as "iPad mini" officially.
This source expects that "iPad" logo will be printed on back of case same as "iPod" is printed on iPod nano and iPod touch, and it means one new product will be added on iPad's product brand genre.

Macokotakara also claims that according to their source, the next generation iPod nano will come with Wi-Fi capabilities to enable iTunes in the Cloud support:

Next iPod nano may equip Wi-Fi antenna on side of that case, and support iTunes Music Cloud in order Apple to provide a iconic product to promote the largest Music Store in the world.

Wi-Fi capabilities would be quite useful as it would allow users to redownload music on the iPod nano. Back in July, Macotakara had reported that Apple will launch a redesigned iPod nano later this year. The iPod nano may sport a rectangular screen like the 4th and 5th generation iPod nano, will be as thin as the current iPod nano (6th generation) and also come with a Home button similar to the one found on iOS devices.
Apple had launched the 6th generation iPod nano back in September 2010, so it is quite likely that Apple will launch the new iPod nano later this fall.

AllThingsD confirmed earlier today that Apple will be unveiling iPad mini at a separate media event in October. It's however not clear if Apple will unveil the next generation iPod nano at the 'iPhone 5' media event on  September 12 or at the iPad mini event in October.
