Folks at RazorFly have stumbled on a cool video created by YouTube user animatedvisual, which shows the 6th generation iPhone rendered in 3D based on the leaked parts that were posted by iLab Factory.
The video compares the rendered 'iPhone 5' with Samsung Galaxy S III. If the leaked parts are indeed authentic, then the next iPhone will come with:
- Taller 4-inch display, but with same width as iPhone 4S and iPhone 4
- Two-tone, unibody design
- A large portion of the back panel is made out of metal and the remaining part seems to be made of glass.
- It will get a metal antenna band like iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, but in case of 'iPhone 5', it seems to be moulded with the metal back panel
- A lot thinner than iPhone 4S and could be marginally thinner (7.6mm) than the Samsung Galaxy S III (8.6mm)
- The position of the headphone jack has moved from the top to the bottom, next to the speakers
- New smaller dock connector, which is rumored to offer faster transfer rates and orientation independence
- The speakers grills have been redesigned
- The front facing camera has moved above the earpiece (it is currently to left of the earpiece in iPhone 4S and iPhone 4)
